Industrial Hygiene Services
SGI provides a full range of industrial hygiene services. Our staff has conducted exposure assessments for a wide range of projects – from heavy manufacturing to major construction.
Exposure monitoring is conducted using approved NIOSH and OSHA methods. Personal air monitoring is conducted for comparison with established occupational exposure limits such as the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limits (PELs) and American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) Threshold Limit Values (TLVs). From the regulatory standpoint, respiratory exposure assessments are required by 1998 revisions to the OSHA respiratory protection standard.
We conduct both qualitative and quantitative assessments as needed based on exposure potential. Sample analyses are obtained from laboratories accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). We offer comprehensive audits, program reviews, training, air monitoring and other specialized services to ensure that clients receive the highest quality safety and industrial hygiene service possible.
